Not able to run the mains allowed me to take advantage of the good qualifing and take the win.

Thanks to Poalo for the winning product and to Ashton for the pitting!!!!
Aslo thanks to the Port Charlotte crew for the hard work this weekend in working with the rain.
Too bad about the weather. Congrats on the TQ and the points win. You're getting off to a good start.

Hi everyone,

Um I'm thinking of buying a Serpent 710 or 720. I have no clue whats better from the 2. Please advise me on the best choice for the cost(don't have alot of money).

I'm going to Graz Austria in February, and at a track called MORAC Graz, alot of people race 710s and 720s. I want to know what size engine you need and how do you install it into the 710/720?(.12, .15 .....) Do you also need a starter box?(how do you use it?) What other parts do I need to get the Serpent going?

Can anyone tell me how fast each one goes without any hop ups, and are they good value for money?

thanks

Hi,

Can someone tell me a good and cheap site to order a Serpent 710 or 720 and could you also tell me what I need to get for it.

Also, if anyone here is from Austria, could you give me some links of sites that sell Serpent stuff and maybe also used Serpent cars.

Thanks

Hi,

Um serpent.at does not have any serpent cars exept for 2 960s which I'm not intrested in.

If you know any more, please tell me.

Also, how much does it cost till you can get the Serpent 720 going?(the cost like engines and so all together)

It depends on how crazy you go. The car is good stock. No need for hop ups. Engines vary. I like the ds11 mega, but there are a lot of good motors on the market. For reliablity you can get a Novarossi.

Hi,

PS... I'm new to nitros and want a good fast car to race(came from electros). Should I get a 710 or a 720. The 710 is like $100 cheaper. Is the 720 so much better?

Um the rc-exclusive.com site doesn't have the exact stuff like on the serpent web site. The part numbers vary slightly.

I don't know what motor mounts fit what engine. Like does any mount work on any engine? Just say that I have a Mega ZX .12 engine. What motor mount do I need? rc-exclusive.com sells 2 of them #802552 and #802553. Which one do I need for a Navorrossi engine?

About mufflers, what muffler works on what engine? Do all 2,11ccm engines use the same manifold and pipe? I know that the Mega ZX and MF have thier own mounts, but what about a Navorrossi or a Mega SP?

Do I also need a starter box or is it possible to put a pull starter on an engine cause a starter is about 60+ euros.

Now about the car, how fast is it stock with a moderate engine such as a Mega SP? Does it do close too 100kmh?

please help me
