Default cone washer

Anyone know where the cone washer that comes with the 3rd one set goes?
I'am not quite sure where to install it. Behind the brake rotor?
Second question. Is there any reason to run the overdrive front pulley with the 3rd oneway.
I know these may seem dumb questions but my experience is with 1/8 buggys. Kind of new to onroad 1/10.

The cone washer goes inboard of the bearing that is next to the gears. The cone should be pointed at the break disk. Be sure to lube the bearings in the one way and use lock tite. The hardest thing was to put that snap ring on the bearing/break carrier.

Check with the instructions by going to Serpent.com . When there, type in the part number and hit downloads from that part number. There is a good schematic on how to install the part.

I know someone asked if the 3rd one way will fit the 710, but I don't recall seeing an answer.

Will the 3rd one way fit the 710?

You might need to do some modifying to the flat spot on the outer pulley to make things fit. Or make a flat spot on your stock 710 axle to accomodate the 3rd one way.

I would check the drawing again if i was you. The cone is pointed towards the outside of the car so the flat part is next to the brake disc.
