How much experience do you have with different buggies to comment on what the MP9 does or doesn't drive like?

If you have a 808 already I wouldn't bother selling it for an MP9. You already have one of the best buggies on the market , look no further. I recommend Josh wheeler's roar setup for most tracks. I haven't drivin an MP9 but I've sure watched a lot break at the track.

Try Rocco's starting set-up and tweek from there..That has worked great for me..I actually run a combo of Rocco, and stock, but I have only been racing since October..Still do allot of off power steering and bringing less speed into the corners, as I get faster I make minor tweeks..but my set-up is really fast and real easy to drive

I like them both tried them both out. To say 1 is better than the other who cares. I have never seen a 808 dnf I can say that. A friend of mine has the MP9 and is DIE hard K-car and its an awesome car seen it break once this season. Me I like my D8's never broke and buying them I am never broke LOL buying parts i aint broke either LOL. Now if I had Major cash to blow like other guys would i be driving another car right now, I really dont know.

I love my 808 and have no interest in an MP9. The design looks outdated to me. I've also heard of several reliability issues.

My 808 is wicked and I wouldn't race anything else. I am waiting for Xray to make 1/10th electric buggies and I'll race those. I also had a T2'008 at one point. Xray is simply the best. They make race cars. They specialize in race cars. Juraj Hudy is a genius. Hudy tools are regarded as some of the nicest tools in the world, even outside of this industry.

Xray is all about racing. No toys, no BS. Race cars. And they don't %@^& around.

Enjoy your 808. You will.

I'm having flash backs of RCU. And just when I thought this place was a bit more easy going I get edited!

Word to Semple. That's why I race Xray.

The only comment I can make about the MP9 is that I know of ONE person in western Canada who runs it, Steven Daniluck, and he is really fast (by normal Canadian standards at least, Ty is just on another level above all the rest of us, lol).

I have broke my 808 plenty of times, but only during A-mains at regional events never during the hundreds of hours of practice I've put it through, of course. (well that's sort of a lie, but pretty close to the truth) The 808 is really strong though. A lot stronger than the cheap cars (HB, AE, etc).
