If you want a SUPER BUMPY SETUP use Cody kings setup from psycho nitro blast this year. The track is like driving in a continuous whoop section

Just drill the hole and use the stock mounts.
It a 1 min job, 100% fix and costs nothing.

Ill have to agree. I was on the fence for a while about drilling it but said screw it. Works perfect and seems to have no ill effect.

Good question, I've often wondered Wat the difference is as well.
I notice the blue shoes are written on quite a few of tebos sheets, so I'm guessing there would be some sort of difference.

I will probably try to greens this weekend at our Scorcher race here in Savannah should have around 150-175 turnout as grip comes up might go back to lt. blue springs rear if she gets sloppy. I was thinking of starting at 32.5 rear green /32.5 fr lt. blue /1.3x8 pistons /half rebound all four corners does that sound to soft for a med grip hot track? First time out I ran 2nd in local points race with crossed drilled pistons 30wt rear /35wt front but it was hard to drive rear was LOOSE when track lost grip but I still ran some of my best laps ever when grip was there and wow it was ripping off the corners and jumped perfect. Any suggestions on a good start for a hot med grip track with med jumps? Had to get Ko propo switch fits perfect and Nightfox custom is next!
The orange spring does give you more grip in the rear as you've heard. With the light blue springs you may want to move them in on the rear tower one hole. Make sure the rear sway bar is able to swivel freely in its mount. Back the sway bar pivot balls out as much as possible. With 1.3x 8 pistons try 45wt front / 30 rear. With the stock pistons I used to run 32.5 front / 27.5 rear and it felt really good. I suspect the green springs in the stock location will give u plenty of grip. You may even have to move them out on the rear tower a hole. As always, make sure your running the right tires.

I never have ran the blue shoe.I run the silver.
I was told by Paul King, that the blue shoes grip better and yes they are softer than the silver.

good question..

i tried both and the blue shoes are better..

the silver ones that come stock in the mp9 kit, tend to "burr" often getting caught up on the flywheel.. if i was running kyosho shoes i would run the blue ones but i like the werks 4 shoe setup..

That is true about the silver shoe burr up good after one night of 3 heats and a 20 minute main.

Ok, I will try that. I only drive on rough, blown out non watered tracks. there FUN to me. thank you Sir!!! My name is Lance.

Softer is always more grippy.
Also I noticed the Kyosho clutchbells are much more slippery for lack of a better word, so I use RT/Tourex clutchbells, which appear much more grippy.
I noticed clutch shoes wear faster with the Kyosho clutchbell, I think this is because of the slipperyness.. last longer with the other clutchbells.

I want to switch to a cab forward body and was wondering if anyone has had the chance to try a few of the different cab forward bodies and give a performance recomendation.
