As the season here is winding down I have to give a huge thanks and kudos to Luther. His support this season as been above and beyond. The 2009 car is truly a fantastic car, it is a great kit with everything a racer would want, and not need to buy anything else for it. I have had a great year with the car and the team. It has been a true honor to be part of the team.
Judging by the high quality and high standards Luther has for this car, I'm very excited to see what is next.

OK...Thank you so much...I havent had a chance to get on the PC today..Been breaking in motors today...I managed to a mount a 777 SP on it wich is a direct fit...Thanks again Local Racer...Proline Gas Champs tomorrow...Wish me luck on the west coast....Got the car working REALLY well!!!! I put 10k in the rear and it has so much rear tracktion and acceleration that I can barely hang on...It use to be hard to put the power to the ground but not now........

The Truggy is done and we could have them now but the question is will they sell?We are currentlly thinking that a new platform is the way to go so we are back at it.We know we need something cutting edge to move forward so thats what we have decided to work on.
Ive done very well imo with my prototype truggy all year. Lots of people have seen it run here and are impressed by it....dont sell it short
Would like to try the new chassis...anyone try it yet? Sure would be nice to talk to someone running the T.
thanks

If you are referring to where the engine meet the block I bought screws from Tony's Screw and they fit better and I had now more problems. I was thinking and still do that it's because we don't have a one piece motor mount. Did you find it to be the right rear screw that kept stripping out?
I you are referring to the thin plate between the mount and chassis the best thing to do there and its what I did on all the cars we ran is to put longer screws in with nuts on top

On the first set
On the first set I striped the lower mount which is bolted dirrectly to the chassis. On the second set I stripped the upper mount which the engine bolts to. three out of four holes. The screw were pretty long too. I tried to tighten the screws and they just wouldn't go. I was talking to a guy down here in florida and he told me that he a bought an upgraded motor mount that reaches all the way to that open hole just in front of the flywheel opening on the chassis. I was hoping to just get one of those.

That longer mount would be the one piece TQ makes. Also you have to watch how long the screws are and how much debris build up in the bottom of the holes for the screws. That could stop the screws from threading in all the way. And again I found the Tony's Screws to have a better thread.
