Really Really well. I am going to put carbon shoes in my clutch to tame it a bit more. The motor is great though. Insane power, great acceleration and top end, great runtime, idles forever, holds a tune, starts on first bump. Thanks again for selling it to me. I sent a customer your way, he said hes ordering next month.

glad to hear, i went to carbon and 14tooth to help calm mine down as well, the car still accelerates really well, one good thing about having to be smoother is the fuel economy gets better, thanks for sending a friend

Whats up man? glad yours finally came together. Im sure you know this but make sure if you switch from alum to carbon shoes on the same bell that you smooth out the inner part of the bell before running with the carbons. The inside of the bell will tear them up due to the scratches and other stuff from the alum ones if you dont. Take care man.

Default mugen clutch bell clearance

hi to all mbx6 owner,

i got a question to ask,
i put two shims and a thick spacer before tighten the screw to the crank shaft, as mention in the manual, however the end play of the clutch bell is quite alot.
how much usually the end play should be.

any input are much appreciated.

You should have about about .3-.5mm end play. The shim behind the flywheel collet it used to get the endplay close and the small shims between the front CB bearing and the larger washer on the end are for adjusting to the .3mm-.5mm endplay.

suprised to hear that novaa,

ive found the mbx6 very easy to drive, i originally had issues with keeping the car from bouncing around on a blown out track as well as a few jumping issues i had with bottoming out

i solved this by changing shock oils to 45 in the front 40 in the rear, and changing the ride height and droop slightly,

are you struggling with it when going around a corner? ie when you turn into the corner and try to power out you spin out?. If so put some lighter springs on the clutch i did this and it made a massive difference

after a long hard debated I decided to get the mbx6 over the losi 8 2.0. I hope Im making the right decision. One of the main reason is that the mugen just looks more apealing. Couple questions thou, one thing I dont like about the 6 is that I have to get a 5 cell flat battery. i have 3 newer 5 cell hump packs, guess there is no way to get the hump back to work is there? Im buying it tommorrow so I will become a regular here. One more thing, Does anyone use a tuned grp in the mbx6? Just wondering how it shims with the car, on my rc8 it doesnt line up with the spur very well, clutch bell is sitting to far foward
