You can get alot of races out of the stock bearings. I normally just check them when im cleaning my buggy or doing a rebuild. If it feels gritty I just change it out.

The hole in the front shock tower that holds the upper arm seems to develope play after a while. I like the carbon towers, even though Im not sure about the weight difference. If its a big difference I may change. Otherwise I will stick with the carbon. And yes nimh batteries all the way!!!

Light coat of CA glue inside that hole will take up the slop.

Another good 4 shoe is the Ascendancy Clutch.

the stock bearings are very good, my track is a dust bowl as soon as the cars have done a few laps, the bearings struggle as a result, thats the only good thing about racing in the winter no dust, unfortunately theres mud and puddles to contend with instead.

The underdrive dear set, you would use in a very slick condition. It will cause the front of the car to pull the car out of the corner, keeping it from steping out under hard exceleration.

As for a flattened diff. ? my guess would mean that someone has sanded the diff cup to true it up to stop leaking. Hope this helps clear things up.

Its NIMH from now on for me !!!!!!! Just had a life pack cost me a possible 4th place A main finnish in the RC Pro Series Only 5 min left out of 45 and loss of all power, cycle the switch and off we go for a couple turns then walla its done The pack was 4 weekends old and i charged it after every round making sure it didnt get to low. The weight gain is not worth the possiblity of this happening again.

For starter boxes and electric cars you can't beat Lipo batteries, but for the reciever packs the NiMh batteries can't be beat.....Let the guys who have to have every expensive piece on their cars have issues, I will go on for the win with my 15 dollar NiMh packs....

Have you guys been having issues with the LIFE Receiver packs? I just started trying them out and they seem to work great. I spoken to a few guys about LIFE packs and they have gotten great service from them. Not sure about the NIMH packs being bullet proof...I have had those fail also.

I use the Odonnell clutch bell, cheap and last longer than the asendancy. You can also use the odonnel on the 3 shoe systems, pretty versital

Thanks Matt, thought we had a chance for a top three but alot can happen in a 45 min main
