Probably not. The Losi uses different bearing sizes than most buggies.

The bearing for the diff is 8mm inner size. so it's the same as the rest of the cars..

You might be able to use the Losi bearings on the Tacktyl diff. Let us know.

I doubt it will work but Please let me know if you make them work. I'm sure the grearing will be incorrect.

For those of you who do not know the BBF tactyl II diffs are amazing. I used to run them in K-cars & later MBX's and if your track has anything BUT a hard pack high traction surface these diffs will make you faster. I don't think anyone is importing these diffs now days but if anyone has any info on how to get them, I would like to hear it. I see on there site the do not offer a diff for the Losi yet.

- Four carbon shoes with four gold springs in the clutch. Lots of power, great feel, excellent wear!
Aaron Waldron- Hello, do you still run with this set-up? Or does anyone else out there run with the drilled pistons? And if so how do you like it an does it work better than regular "non-drilled" pistons?

Thanks

Sorry for double posting guys, and gals.

Can someone get me a link to a proven setup that is definitely a nice setup??Please, please?

same set up with 15k in the center diff, zero rear camber short ackerman plate zero toe in and losi taper pin slicks. Thats it. This car works great on every surface I have encountered so far.

drilled pistons will be in between pistons as far as pack goes. so a drilled 54 will start out as molded piston (with holes bigger than 54) which is then drilled out with a 54 drill bit. It will be slightly smaller than a molded 55 hole.

more pack , slower dampening

On both my 8t and 8b I had a shock piston come loose and acually flip itself upside down in the shock. One shock pierced the bladder, the other shock was fine. Needless to say, my fastest qualifier with the buggy was with the blown shock.

I didnt' notice anything until I went back to the pits.

Just a couple laps into the truggy qual. my truck was not steering like it did before. I knew immediately the servo saver had backed down onto the chassis.

Just a heads up to "us" Losi newbs, use loctite on everything.
