Grenade, I'd really like to experiment with different springs. Can you tell me what springs will fit and what spring rates are stock to the IGT8 as a starting point.

hello I have been following gt8 for awhile now and I have a few questions if you don't mine.
1st I have a dm-1 I got it used but never ran due to work and kids. what made this car out of date outside of parts I see gt8 cars now around the same weight now. and comparing your igt8 to your dm-1 how much faster is it?
I also noticed a lot of gripe on the dm-1 pivot ball a arms and now mugen is out .is there an advantage with the pivot ball arms?

Over all is it the progression and learning curve in the tunning and or is the motors that make the serpent,mugen,igt8 faster then the dm-1 thanks in advance.

Grenade.. I have a quick question for u.. I'm currently building my IGT8 and i'm currently stuck on the servo saver.. are there suppose to be 4 bearings for the two post.. I see that I have 3 plastic shape spacers that fits perfect but I don't see the bearings any where and I only have 3 plastic spacers instead of 4, but I m pretty sure I should have servo saver bearings..thks agin Q

    Hi Grenade10
I was looking again at the thread and found your quote
"Use 3 or 4 bearing in the front of the clutch bell. PM if you have questions."
Do you mean to say I need to purchase additional bearings to fill-up all the space up to the to, flush with the bell? I presume I will need a longer screw then.
Thanks for your advice on this.
