What would be the ideal FDR for a large asphalt track with a 21.5?

I run my motor in the center which really helps settle down the rotation of the car. Remove the inner spacers from the camber links, stand up the shock front and rear two holes from the outside and set your droop equal all the way around. Possibly try an "E" block in the rear. All of this will settle down the cars rotation. I also run equal springs front and rear if you really need to run unequal springs run the harder springs in the back!
Trust me you will be amazed how more balanced the car will feel. If this setup starts to cause the car to push then start making changes back one step at a time until the rotation is the way you like it!
Just my 2$
P.S. The sway bars are color coded on the very tip of the bar!
I'll give this a shot and see what happens! Thank you!

I really think this depends a lot on your track. Play around, see what feels good and is fast while also keeping your motor temps down. Start between 3.5 and 4 and go from there.

Grease on the pinion gear is going to encourage it to pick up dirt and gunk. I would avoid greasing it and I've never known anyone to grease their pinion/spur.

Hello!

Maybe stupid question but if you run brushless motor with mounted tires on chassis...just for test I lifted the chassis from the surface and put it on some carriers...there are a lots of vibration on it at high rpm of the motor...it is possible somehow to balance the chassis because this vibration during the use will quite efect on life time of the bearings.

Thanks.

First place to start would be to balance the wheels.

Hello!

I know that I should balance the wheels, do you have some advice how to do that at home.

Thanks.

Something like this will do the trick: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFAJP&P=FR&atrkid=V3ADW3A24148B_10642 245165_aud-149163720045la-67528013685__36556522365_g_m_pla__1o1&gclid=Cj0KCQ jw3drIBRCOARIsAO-hZCmKooxYcpVaFiQOuLEx_jzWkBfPTXQwRISqRmNGpAKwsYxLG UsmSuAaAn4OEALw_wcB

How often you do that...it is this common practice to balance the wheels?

I usually just do it once for any set of tires that cause vibration.

This is an odd car, but it drives really well. Except for am alloy turnbuckle, it survived the Tamiya kink. Very cool car. Handled well out of the box with just springs added. Thanks to Tamiya America for the great facility. Cya on two weeks..

Going to try the ta07 in our weekly club race program that has a spec motor - 13.5 - with a 5.0 FDR. Should be interesting to see how it handles the torque.
