Default problems

Hey guys
I am having trouble with my T2 on rubber tyres having no rear grip
on power and off power the car was set up standard, then i changed
vitually everything to fix but nothing is working.
When i put it on the tweak station it's about 1/4 of a bubble out so
i just adjust the preload and its perfect but the car is still undrivable
ANY IDEARS CHEERS!!

You can try My base setup.
Or maybe the setup from Frans Heinsbroek
And if you're still lost post your setup with Xray and ask there with a little explenations of the track you're driving for some help.

Make sure that your rear diff is built properly. It has to run free and smooth.

How durable are the T2 drive shafts? I'm putting together a spare parts list since the LHS is always hit or miss. They are priced out at $20 a piece , but seem very thin, even though there spring steel. I'm new to Xray, but have had Associated, Tamiya, Schumacher, and Hpi cars in the past and always managed to bend shafts especially running spools. Are they really that durable?

I've had my car since it was released, driveshafts are the only thing i have broken. I've actually broken 2....Both times using a spool.

The drive shafts on my FK'04 hold it for more than a year.

I've had an EVO2, FK'04, FK'05 and now a T2. Never broke a driveshaft. Only once bend one.

Ok, Just about finished building the T2 (after 3 weeks lol).

Did anyone else not go with the adjustable dampers and install the "fixed" dampers? I installed the adjustables, but didnt like them (couldnt get them to constantly change). Its like they would hop or miss a click. Without the oil, it was alittle easier to tell, but once I oiled up the shocks, couldnt work it out.

Also, being new to Electric, I was adjusting my ESC and notice alittle bit of interferance, and read somewhere that I should soldier capicators to my motor to stop interference? How common is this, as I dont see many stock motors with capicators installed?

for me the adjustable damper is the one i use in order to know the right setup for a certain track..then when i know which piston is good then it the time to switch non adjustable...you just have to extend the shocks in order to be sure that it really click..

im running stock right now i dont put capacitor on it. and most of other racers dont put capasitor on thier stock motor..but if you wanna try you can ..anything just to keep you going..
