I love this car, raced it 4 times since I built it and each time it just gets better. It has soo much rear traction inline configuration!! Even more so than my other car with the battery sideways. I can run JFT 30/30, so smooth.
We have a new layout and was able to run same shore front and back on a green track!

Finally getting around to finishing up my 12r to RR12 conversion, hope to get it out on the track soon.

Looking good! Let me know what you think and if you may have any questions. Off the bat, the center spring is probably too soft. The long rear upper pod piece where the shock mounts produces a lot of leverage on that shock, so I usually run AE gold with the std front end and red with the double a arm.
On another note, a lot of you probably saw these pics on FB. If not, well here's our aluminum chassis for the V2. You can see the car is still reasonably light. If you must get lower and you are running spec classes, it probably will be a good idea to get a light esc. The HW V3.1 is usually about 10g heavier than all the other stuff.
Now that I have run the car with the proper tire set up and have the set-up right, the car is amazing. The aluminum chassis is so much more driveable, it has better on power traction and steering, stays flatter and is simply about a tenth faster than before. I had been working on perfecting the set-up and had gotten the carbon car as fast as ever and this is sooo much better. The car never hikes anymore, the high speed steering increased, the set up window got 500-600% wider and the tire selection is far less critical. You can run bigger tires with no traction rolling. (This is big for me and a long time goal, as I just cut my personal tire bill by nearly half.) The car is still stupid quick on big tires and just gets faster as they wear down. I was able to race on 42.5 R and 41.5 F today for the first time in a LOOOONG time, I was still running the fastest laps by a larger than usual margin and making far less mistakes.
I really think this aluminum chassis on 12th scale might be the icing on the cake for this car's overall balance and outright pace.
The chassis will go into production this next week, hopefully we will get to put some pre orders for the conversion over the next coming days.

i've been thinking about getting another pan car...right now i'm all CRC, but that reflex pan car is something beautiful to watch going around the track and it seems more durable than the roche

yes seeing them go around is a thing of grace. i'm currently only focused on a new TC chassis, which i'm glad because it gives me time to decide on which pan car i'd move to next and i'm between this and a roche. i know if i end up w/ an RSD that new chassis will have to be acquired

Hi guys! As Brian (bdmpastx) said, I can build the cars for you with the alloy chassis. I should have alloy chassis sometime within 10 -12 days.
On another note, I only have enought for 6 more cars on this batch. It is amazing that we are about to sell out. It only took 3 months this time, last batch was more like 6-7 months.
Last night, the car was sooooo good. I have not run that consistent with such little fade since we started the project. Neither has anyone else though. Our typical drop off, when it's good is 4 tenths, and more like 0.6-1 seconds for most at our track, however the fade was right at about 3 tenths last night for me and the V2.

Mike, as for lead time. It depends on when you order. We assemble every kit as I don't have a manual for it, so the wait can be a bit longer.
Right now the wait is about 7-10 days. Once our European distributor pays for their order, everything will be pushed back to about 14-20 days. I know I keep saying it, but the car is a pleasure to drive I am on cloud 9 right now.
