High speed Shaft driven Chassis?
I'm interested in putting together a bit of a land rocket for fun.
I've got a Novak 4.5t 550 motor and esc just sitting here, and I figured why not build a supercar? I have a Sprint 2 chassis that I could slap this into, but I think I might just get a chassis that is better suited for high speed.
I want to drive a 1/10 bugatti. I have all the electronics, just need some suggestions on Chassis worth looking at.

I would've thought you'd be best with a 2wd pan chassis type car with an lmp body shell. That'll give you the least drag and drivetrain resistance for maximum speed.

nic case has managed 184mph from the heavily modified ae nitro tc3,he choose this car for the durable drivetrain,so worth a look

TC4 All the way, i loved mine. Got it into the triple digits with out even trying much. I still have mine if your interested in a roller. Its the all carbon Factor Team Edition.

Ahahah..... Bert beat you to it with his tc4 hv4.5 novak and tekin Rx8 esc, geared at 5.46fdr....... The Car is a monster at 70% throttle, the radio goes up to 120%......... I run it with old foam Tires against the 8scales for fun, with a tp3300 65C 4S lipo.... It rocks... Cheers....

Here is a link for a company that does/can make touring car capped tires. They primarily make capped tires for pan cars.

I've never ran a capped tire, don't think they are needed for speed runs. I have ran reg foams well over 100 .

Nitro touring Car Foam Tires are the best for high speeds: hot race Tires, GQ Tires, etc......, 30mm rears and 26mm fronts....
