Default Traxxas Rally 1/10 vs. Nitro 4-tec

Hello all, I was debating on purchasing the 1/10 Traxxas Rally or the Nitro 4-tec, but I can't really decide. Does anyone know what handles better on the road and what is more fun to drive. I'm not really worried about the headaches that come with nitro because I'm pretty good with them.

Thanks

???? I find it hard to believe that no one has driven the two cars. I guess I'll have to flip a coin.

the 4 ted is only onroad. only! the rally is based on the slash 4x4, it is much larger than a 4 tec. and since it is a slash underneath, it can do off road, as well as onroad.

The Traxxas Rally can be a Rally car, Short Course Truck, Monster Truck, 1/8 scale GT onroad, 1/8 scale offroad buggy.

So in a nutshell the Traxxas Rally is better than the Nitro 4-tec? Ok cool, thanks for everyone's input, I guess that solves that. I'll be on my way to get the Rally tomorrow. Quick question though, does the Rally handle poorly on road when compared to the 4-tec?

Out of the box the 4tec will probably out handle the rally. However, if you convert it to a GT8 it should be on par or better. Not a hard conversion really (mostly involves lowering it some, different wheels/tires, different body)

I, myself prefer the bigger Rally GT8 over 1/10 touring car to handle better on street where I'm at.
