HoBao H4E Pro touring car kit

Does it well, designed for the job!
Plastic - even the carbon reinforced stuff - doesn't offer much resistance.
It look pretty much as per most other bottoming taps I've used in the past.

I really dont see how people are breaking so much on these cars, I have the soft option plastics on the front and the originals on the rear. I have done plenty of crashing and hardly break anything. My v2 driveshafts are 40+ races old now and still fine.
Some of my crashing. Im 10th on the grid, orange car with green bonnet and roof

I've had v2 c-hubs, steering arms and rear up-rights break in very light crashes. The only complaint I have with this car are the front end plastics, they just aren't durable enough. I'll be ordering more steering arms tonight, hopefully I'll get the v3.

I have been running an H4 now for 4 weeks (17.5 Blinky on carpet). I race twice a week and have done 2 National club championship rounds with it too. That equates to 34 x 5 minutes races.
So far all hubs and driveshafts are original and nothing has broken and they are all V1 parts.
For those of you that are having durability issues fit rear steel shafts in the front (you will need to fit the rear outer bearing too as the rears don't use the should fitted to the front DCJ's). And also fit the current plastics.
The kit shock bladders didn't seal properly so i replaced those with bladders from the Xray T4 308082 and the foams 53577 from Tamiya. This mod totally transformed the shox and are now as smooth as TRF's.
Really liking the the front hub arrangement and the rear uj pin running inside the inner wheel bearing. Seems Hobao really put some thought into this car.
Recent cars include Associated TC6.1, Serpent S411 ERYX and a Schumacher Mi5. The H4 is by far the best of the bunch. My only regret is i didn't buy the H4 sooner.

I don't know, I drive a kyosho ultima SC and many people call it weak, broke only 1 arm and 2 front hubs, the arm was busted by a 4x4 SC clobbering me at full speed and the 2 hubs broke from me looking for the best line, which I found the same tube at full speed twice, also ran a "weak" associated B4 and never broke a part other than the crap ball ends. And yes, I drive fast, iv'e tq'd and finished on the podium plenty of times.
This cars weakness might show on specific tracks in specific crashes, maybe its also a temperature thing too, this will be a summer only car so hopefully I can keep it in one piece.

2014 Canadian Nats
Looks like a great venue with a lot of public exposure and 300+ entries.
Lou driving his H4 was top 10 in all 3 sedan A Main finals. It would be nice to see him on this forum for verification and tips.

Lou is one of the few racers in my area who I actually trust to give real word racing advice. Lots of great racers in my area but Lou is one of the few that really knows what happens when you turn that wrench a 1/4 turn. I have seen him on this thread.

In case anyone wants to see it, here's the 13.5 TC A-main. Lou's Hobao is the solid orange car that starts 8th, but is in 5th place after the first corner. I just focused on Keven's car in first, but you can still see a fair bit of the other cars.
