HoBao H4E Pro touring car kit

IMHO, R1 and H4e are not in the same class. The R1 is a great car, and they both sell for a similar price. However, the H4e is really more comparable to the quality of kits in the $450-550 price range.
Enjoy!

BTW, if you're local and showing up at TQ tomorrow night, come by and chat. I'll be running my H4e

Had some great results with the H4e last night at TQ RC.
Yesterday was the 2nd time out, and I had a chance to tune the setup a bit better for the new layout. Playing with some of the settings helped. Got the best lap down to 9.9s which is near the top of the list for our track in 17.5T sedan. Current fastest sedan pace is 9.5 set in 13.5T class (coincidentally, also an H4e)
Despite the good results, everything wasn't perfect. I broke a DCJ at the inner joint. The nipple connecting the drive shaft to the axle sheared off during a hard sideways hit when i scraped the pipe at full speed. Other than that, the car has held up really well.
All in all, the results have been very impressive so far.

Really? Hrm... works on two separate machines I've tried and android phone/tablets as well.
Perhaps its a software version issue?

So for you guys that have one of these, would you choose this or a AE tc6.1 ?
I'm really leaning towards one of these from hobao

I use to run a tc6.1 decked out with the rsd chassis, and don't get me wrong it is a good car but they are fragile and in a hard hit on a corner when you break an arm the bulkheads will bend too that can get costly, I haven't ran my He4 yet tomorrow night is our season opener so I will shake it down then, but as far as fit and finish there is no comparison the ofna's seems to be a lot tighter and more soild and thought out more design is of a higher end car. Just my 2 cents for you.
