Ran the v10 21.5t in an open parking lot in a tamiya trf419, geared at 3.26fdr and 30deg motor timing. Temps were under 50deg celcius after a 5 minute run so it looks like its time to gear up.

I used the Ø13.5er Rotor on our small track, the straight is about 25m long.
The rotor has extrem torque, but even with low boost settings, it will reach 105° in 3-5 minutes

currently I don't use this rotor anymore.

cheers

About Bandit motor, could somebody tell me if they could fit use optional rotors.
At least allowed physically, since their site said that is not applicable.

Best regards

Hi all,

Can anyone please tell me if something is wrong with my 17.5 bandit. here is the full description of the problem.

- the motor seems to be noisy when being run in the car with pinion and spur on. the meshing of the gears seem to be good.

- if i take the pinion off, the motor runs smooth and silent. Quite sure is not a meshing of the gears issue as i have adjusted it several times to male sure meshing is ok.

Thanks,
Eric

Hi there,

I have two mounting holes that are broken (screws turn in the hole without thigthening anymore) on my V10 5.5t, do you have any solution to fix it (apart from drilling M4 holes on the broken ones)?

My motor still works very good and this is the only issue I had with it, I would prefer not to buy a new one only for that reason...

Is it possible to replace the outer can?

Thanks for your input,
Regards,
G-rem

Default Hobbywing V10 5.5

Thinking about upgrading my 5.5 to the new V10 I have the 2.1 version now and I think the sensor board is gone. Anyway, I was kicking around the new V10 or a Tekin 5.5. Thoughts opinions? Thanks

By the way I'm running this set-up in a D413

I think you would be happy with the v10. One thing I noticed though is I'm geared quite high compared to others with orca/trinity ect ect. These motors are super smooth, run super cool and like to rev.
In 13.5 12th scale the average rollout at my track is low-mid 80s where I'm 76-78.
Duuuu it. They cheap right now on rcmart too.

Hi guys

Quick question - I'm currently running the fixed timing blue can 21.5 motor in my Xray f1 car in blinks with the just stock esc - would I get a performance increase by swapping to the v10 21.5 which allows motor timing adjustment with the same speedo?
Thanks
Paul

Of course!
Look at the specs on the paper between both...the V10 is more performant
