Sounds like the rear ride height will be adjustable without the use of different spacers. Looking forward to this but it will have to be good to replace my F104WGP :D

Subscribed.

A TRF based F1 car is what my collection *needs*. :-)

We've collated everything we can find so far into a sneak peek on the TRF 101 here.

180 rubbers or 200 mm foams?, this front end seems to be 180..

Qatmix 04-15-2013 04:29 AM

It looks like a 180 rubbers, which is fine for me as thats what is needed for the nationals (UK)

robk 04-15-2013 07:14 AM

Wow that is a fixed upper arm front end...

JiuHaWong 04-15-2013 10:02 AM

Meh.

I like the Speed Passion front end better. That's the direction Tamiya should have taken.

T.MARSHALL 04-15-2013 11:14 AM

I heard it should be on the street sometime late June early July. Maybe in time for the TCS Nats.

I like the simple camber setting mechanism of f104. Trf 101 seems it requires tools to set accurate camber like the touring cars.

That's what it looked like to me at first too, and may be how it is but...

What if that upper pillow-ball assy is adjustable for camber & caster ?

edhchoe 04-15-2013 12:52 PM

...using different offset football.... That would be awesome.
