Today I removed the xo-1 splitter because it actually ceated a rediculouse amount of down force causing the steering to be way to touchy so I went back to the warrior bumper and my 164g bumper weight setup and I just took it for a test hit and the car felt normal again but I did notice im getting some torque spin in the front but ironically the back tires felt warmer. I never went over 50mph.

I have no steering slop now so I'm wondering what diff oil I should be running, when I put the hi-speed diff gears in I believe I put ofna 5000wt diff fluid front and rear. I have ofna 3000, 5000, 7000, 10,000 on hand.

Spool the front with putty and go light in the rear, this will make the car "follow the front" under acceleration, much easier to control.

The Warrior body is also known to provide excellent aero-steering the faster it goes due to low frontal area that doesn't promote hi-speed push. Adding that splitter to it might just be overkill and upset the body's balance with especially with the rear spoiler section trimmed off too; balance is your best friend.

Don't know if you've gone back to your original shock/diff oils and suspension set-up you had when you ran 98 mph yet, but that might be the best to try if you haven't. Your car was so close to 100 mph and looked like control was pretty good in your videos before. Sometimes it's good to return to a "neutral" position with set-ups.

Was the torque spin up front at low speed take-off?
What kind of tire temps did you experience on the rears?

Nice silver paint, shows the body's lines very well.

Have you guys seen this design yet?

Hope to finish it up next month. Simulated 3D wind tunnel testing looks very good, should be a very fast runner too. The only bad thing about this one is the new 325GT body is designed to fit only the shorter 325mm wheelbase chassis; unlike the Warrior which fits all wheelbase GT chassis.

I do have another hi-speed Warrior design in the works, it should be available around December or January.
The Warrior II is really going to be a lot of fun for top-speed racers!

I don't have any putty so I threw in some 10,000 so I can hopefully do a run tomorrow but it might rain. I thought I had some 30,000 from my Savage XLe project but I cant locate it.

That benz kinda reminds me of my mini 8ight Escort Mk2 project. Thread de-railed. Haha.

Here's a little video that shows how good I got the steering and my hot glued rear arms. Still needs some more tweaks but its getting better and better!
