OK
I'm running with black springs all around, 1000wt shock oil stock pistons.
No rear sway bar ( I would try with and without at your track)
1.8 deg camber front, 1 deg rear
0 deg c hubs and 0 deg knuckles
Ride height is 7-8 mm front and around 9to 10 in rear
My car is pretty light I have the lightened steering/esc. Mount ti turnbuckles and have cut away most of the unnecessary plastic.
I run grp s5 and s7 but they are spec. At my track.
My diffs. Are 300k frt. 200k ctr. And 40k rear
The main problem with the handling on this car in my opinion is the front kick up. It results in a lot of caster in the front the c hubs and knuckles along with weight reduction were the best improvements.

I have almost every available upgrade on mine. But the 2.0 rear and the 0 degree c hubs and steering knuckles.ade the most difference.
Too much caster and chassis kick up in the front seems to be the biggest issue with this chassis. Weight reduction seems to make a large difference.

As part of a motor mod project I'm doing on my cobra get, I installed the aluminum servo savor and the aluminum servo lever. But the plastic piece in between (illustrated in pic) I could not find in aluminum, and as such, there is excessive play at the joint where the servo lever and plastic piece joins together. (where the hex driver is pointing at in pic). Any ideas on how to fix this?
PS. Ignore the position of servo savor as I had to turn it around in order to drop a 78mm truggy motor in.

Thread seems a little inactive, you guys still out there . Looking at getting a gt car and was wondering what peoples thoughts are on this car, is it becoming a little outdated? I am surprised to see in amain this kit is actually more than the new mgt7 eco. I have seen the serpent for around $100 less than the mugen here in Australia but I am thinking for the extra money is it better to have a latest model car as opposed to a car that is basically 3 or so years old? How much longer will parts support be available for the cobra? I do like this car and money is a little tight but for longevity maybe the mugen might be a better choice, opinions.
