The pro kit does not come with any body. The body shown in the pics is, I believe, the Serpent Blitz body, http://www.absolutehobbyz.com/produc...ducts_id=16704.

Chicky tells me ppl running these cars, nitro at least, are using that or the Alpha R3 body, http://www.absolutehobbyz.com/produc...ducts_id=11954

Don't know which is better, under what conditions, just got my kit myself and ordered the Blitz body.

Don't think it's the blitz body the one in the picture has a scoop on the top
But the blitz performs well the proto form pf8 fits and performs well also both give a little less steering than the Ipanema or the alpha I'm thinking of trying the alpha next. I had a pf8 last an entire season of abuse then I got the sew sweep body it's destroyed after two race days and the thing deforms and flops around at high speeds. Not gonna spend the money on that again

Ran my Cobra GT-e for the first time Saturday. Awesome car, super fun class to run. Track wasn't great, its an old parking lots with worn out asphalt and some bumpy sections. Oddly enough, belted treaded Ofna GT tires worked pretty good. Except they're almost worn out in one day. Lots of wheel-spin coming out of the corner, drifting a bit, at full throttle. Might try some Sweep treaded GT tires. Wish Alpha made treaded tires. Are the electric rated Alpha GT tires even available in the US?

On our Parking lot track at 80F +, Sweep 50 EXP Tread works the best in grip & especially in longevity. Ate up EXP 40~45 in a day.
Also I finally gave up on upgrade Composite Spur Gears because rock pebbles easily get in and destroying it
between pinion. Stick with Metal Spurs!

I did try GRP tires last year on the same track. Less capable car tho, a cheap ofna GT car that had far too little rear toe in. The GRP tires just spun a lot and didn't get very good grip. Could have been the track surface too, too dusty. I will try them again on my new car. I will probably order some EXP treaded 50 tires as well.

Yes, I'm running the stock steel spur gear. Got a new steel 44T spur gear to install, so I don't need huge pinions. Do you like the regular white rims over the black ROK rims?

Has anyone tried running the car with the front hinge pin block flipped over? Tried this on the bench and it takes some kick-up out of the front end. Pulls the front of the front A arms down about a mm or so. Still leaves adjustability of the kickup using the front inserts. Should, hopefully, make the front tires wear flatter. Wish Serpent would make 6 and 8 deg. caster blocks for this car

then due to same space restriction.
Right now I am running Peaks 5000 mAh 90C for testing.
And found an Old School Z that fit quite well!
That body looks tuff man!
