If your talking Neu-Castle 1515 can size, then no.....

Edit, you already found out that.

Yes, in my opinion, a 2650 on 4S is fast enough, actually depending on the gearing you put in, it might be faster then the Nitro GT.

On our club, there is 1 GT-e running with Tekin RX8/T8-2650, and it reaches 90 kmh (55 miles) I think thats about the max speed the car should go on our track, and still be controlable to reach good laptimes.....

I suspect you will blow up that motor running 6 cell. I've had good luck running 6 cell this season with a 1700KV Tekin. Running 6 cell its just as fast as the 2650 on 4 cell.

The hardest part about running 6 cell is finding packs that fit in the trays. I run 2 x 3 cell 5000mah packs and had to add extenders on the battery tray posts due to the added height of the packs. I only use about 60% of the pack during a 7 min race and a 2-3 min warm up. I would look for something in the range of 3800-4200's next time I buy batts. Note: The guys running 4 cell are in the 7000mah range at my track and sometimes run out of juice.

Guess they are putting the receiver on the cf that is hanging at the top there?

I suppose this will make more room for a larger motor and or heat sync with fan. I had to hack a few things up to get one to fit in the current configuration. Will also make centering the servo horn and reinstalling the front drive shaft way easier. Trying to imagine how to hide all the wires with this?

I really like that it will make working on the car faster/easier but it's a pricy upgrade for $108.

Motor size isn't going to change. Will still be limited to short can motors. Picture throws u off because no steering rack is in that pic.
Will help with airflow around the motor though which I like.

I also like the machined servo mount. Mine is slightly twisting as I turn wheels
I keep retightening everything but always loosens back up.
Should also give a little more flex to the chassis too

I have the kit already but probably won't install it untill the winter because I really don't want to break it down at the moment. Unless something breaks that is lol rather wait till winter when I plan to refresh some parts anyways

Well not exactly true. Only time I've ever ran out of juice was when I used 5600mah batteries and did practice laps. I don't have a problem with 7000's. after a race I'm right at 3.8/cell which is pretty much perfect.

And to be fair when comparing power consumption, bill and I run our cars harder and end up doing 2-3 laps per race more so obviously more power is being used.

Let bill run your car for a full race and see what your temps and batteries are at after

the only thing really would be the 2.0 diffs but honestly if you looking for back ups theres really not much use for them... ive had the car a year and have yet to need to replace anything. worse I came across is a screw or 2 backing out on me. only parts you need to buy are upgrades

Really need windshield cut outs and fans when running any onroad regardless of motor and ESC combo because they all get hot unless your geared really slow
240 degrees is nuts. Highest I seen was 140's after 5000mah packs.. ran with the fans and no cut outs. If your windshield doesn't have cut out that would be the first thing I do

What heatsinks did you use or how did you mount your tornado fans? My heat problem has mysteriously reappeared. I want to duplicate your setup to see if it helps. Thanks.

I use this heatsink and fan combo
http://www.rcmart.com/yeah-racing-ya...?cPath=1560_32

To fit the heatsink I had to dremel off a couple fins off the heatsink because the bottom corner of the RX Box/compartment would press against the heatsink

I also have a 25mmx25mm YR fan mounted on the front corner of the mud guards that points at the back of the motor for some extra airflow.

What batteries are u using? I had heat issues running 7200 80c lipos.
I switch to 7000 50c gen ace lipos and it helped out.

What temps are u hitting? If you were running fine and all of a sudden your temps are getting much hotter then it could be a sign that your motor might be on its way out. What gearing are u running with the 1900?
