The car is competitive right out of the box. Are you going to run on carpet or Asphalt? Rubber or foam?

If you are running outdoor Asphalt, then you might need a spool as well as a center locked pulley. If you are running foam on carpet, then you will need a diff.

You might also need different degrees of pivot block, springs, and small parts like spacer etc to fine tune your car.

I would also get the Titanium front CVD instead of using the stock Aluminum ones, and maybe change the steering knuckle or C-hub to aluminum ones for more durability.

That's pretty much it.

hi there, ive just ran my cyclone for the first time this weekend and it was fantastic on carpet on slick tyres with just the stock setup minus the rear rollbar. but i have one problem, does anyone else have a fairly large amount of play in the rear pulley? it pulls its self straight when you rev the motor but i would like to know if any one else has had this?

thanks

That's normal...don't worry about it too much..it will center itself when running... new thinner pulleys will be released someday soon.

I just purchased a few option parts for my Cyclone from this shop

www.rcring.com

and was very pleased with the pricing and service.

Thought you might want to have a look, especially if you are located in Europe.

Also, I am very pleased with the RW spur gear which in combination with the TiR pinion it is very quite and the mesh of the teeth between the two is perfect.
