Joey that's about what mine looks like...I need to do electronics still. Other than that the chassis was a dream build. First outing will be this Saturday in the CanAm challenge. Bit of a grudge match with our friends from the land of eh!

The rear shaft from the 101 will work but spacing is off from the 104 due to the rear bulkheads being wider on the 101. The carbon wing brace does not work either because of the pod width. The entire 101 front suspension was a drop on affair.

The ability to change the wheelbase easily will be a plus. A little more trimming of the body is needed though.

Kinda finished. The only way I can fit the electronics under the body. Hope it works out.

An added tuning aid if you know how to tune with camber links angles and lengths. Brian Kinwald approved

Is your new IFS suspension an update of the current F104 adjustable front arm's or is it a totally new design???
As you can tell, I'm highly interested because i'm currently running your 2.5MM chassis on my F104v2 and i'm trying to decide between your F1R2 and CRC's new F1
Thanks

So it does no more than the stock part. Just some eye candy.

We need more pics of built F1R2's!

also ideas for holding the battery in place

I'm thinking esc in rear, battery middle ,recv behind servo but I worry the battery is free to move front to rear with no tape

I used a Tamiya aluminum servo post to hold the battery up front. I'll take a picture of that later and post it for you.

Double sided duct tape. You can barely get battery out of the car, so use a small piece
