what is the spacer by the clamp for?
does it make the car 190 with stock wheels?

I don't see it one your "build list"

I have not seen it in a tamiya manual on a car that uses the clamp hub, just the set screw one

my F1R2 got misdelivered by USPS

The spacer fills the gap between the hub and the left side pod plate. The Tamiya clamp hub is longer and does not need a spacer. Factory Tamiya wheels should put the car at around 187-188. Exo wheels should put you right on 190.

My F1R2 is also in limbo so I can't run mine either.

Are you talking about the black piece?

Those are Exotek F104 wheels, they are extended at the hub area so that track width is increased.

ETA 1 week. What country are you in?

Vyger's link is the one you want. It requires no added spacer. I have a 3rd party hop up that isn't as nice as the Tamiya hub.

The hub on Mike's car looks like the 3Racing hub, but I may be wrong. It's a clamping hub that still uses the spacer. My car has the Tamiya hub shown above, and it eliminates the need for the spacer.
