Hey Stevo,

The wife let slip that we might have a Xbox in the house around December.....

I like driving games and first person shooters but I have not "gamed" in years. Any suggestions?

Art,

Well I'm mostly into the shooters myself... but there are definately some good racing games out... let's start with those:

Forza 2

DiRT

As far as shooters go it's going to really end up being your personal preference... but some "Must haves"

Gears of War

Halo 3

Rainbow Six: Vegas

The Orange Box: Just came out and comes with the entire half life 2 collection

FEAR was a great game on PC... I never played it on 360 but there are some expansions coming out for it...so I might pick it up for the xbox and give it a spin as well.

Also i was wondering for scrutineering, is their a way of telling the ex series of novak brushless motors apart, besides the sticker which i assume can be peeled off?

thanks

Hey Steve,

I ran the 13.5 EX for the first time with the 4.5 sintered rotor and endplate and it worked great. Just as fast as the Novak 13.5 Pro. Even ran it against the Orion 13.5 and still just as fast if not faster.
Thanks for your help!
My only regret is that I didn't buy one sooner!

Losi123- The EX doesn't have the ribbed can and the rotor inside is plastic with brass spacers.

Losi,

No problem... unfortunately the EX series of motors doesn't come with the color coded timing rings like the pro series motors do.

You can remove the sleeve and look to see what was written on it... usually that will let you know what wind the motor is... if you are still unsure the best thing to do is test the motor w/o a rotor in it on an inductance meter.

Hey,

Setting the drag brakes on GTB, does it use extra battery power than having them switched off????

Actually Steve was the original apple in the fruit of the loom comercials but kept wanting to be an orange instead of an apple so they had to let him go and that's when Bob came into the picture

Hey Steve,

I took apart my 4300 with the updated endbell and found that the bearing has froze. Is there a return policy on this?

Stonedgti,

It should be covered under warrantee if the motor is under 120 days old.
