Bd7 2014 motor mount?
Had anybody with a Raceberry 417 attempted to fit the new 2014 Yokomo Bd7 (lower) motor mount and (single sided) layshaft mount into their Raceberry 417 chassis? Its tough to tell if they will fit without seeing the parts in person but I am quite curious.

BD7 2014 Motor mount
I have a full Raceberry conversion and it does not look like it will work after comparing the 2013 & 2014 exploded view but I could always be wrong...

The motor height appears to be the same but its the "new style" half height mount that appears to mount with the two lowrst holes in the motor. Tamiya is a little slow in changing as quite a few cars have adopted this style mount--T4 14, Photon Ex, 14 BD7--probably some others I am missing.

Unfortunately they are sold out as well:
TAMIYA 13404011 TRF417V5 LOWER DECKSOLD OUT Pre-order around 2-3 weeks back in stock !
Thanks though. I think Banzai Hobby might have them in stock. Checking with them but they are closed from Dec 28, 2013 to January 6th, 2014 for their holidays. Hopefully I'll hear back this week if they have them in stock.

Yes, I built the front and rear A-arms, the steering knuckles and the rear uprights into my 417.
I can say, that the parts fitted perfectly (built according to the 418 manual) and the car feels very, very good, but unfortunately I cant' deliver any "hard data" (e.g. lap times), because I have no "home track" where I practice regularly and have reference times.
One thing that I found was, that to attach the 417 stabilizers to the rear A-arms I had to use the outermost hole in the arms, whereas the 418 manual shows the middle hole (there are 3). This is due to the 418 stabilizers having a different shape.
I did order the 418 stabilizers to test them, but didn't have time to try yet.

Hey guys, just checking to see if anyone has a used or spare lower deck (chassis plate) they want to sell for a 417x car? Looking for a good TRF 417x, 417v5 or a Smokem FX chassis for one of my cars. Less interested in the stiffer Reedy 2.5mm chassis plate. PM me if you have one available. Thanks!!

Can anyone tell me if the 418 shock towers are a direct bolt on to a 417x?
