a question for josh
Josh, would it be possible for you to have a complete car for sale versus the upgrade. The total for the upgrade and a photon kit will be around $600, but it seems that the photon parts needed are the suspension pieces, the drive train, and the shocks. Would it be possible to have a kit with your conversion and the required parts for about $450?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sorry guys but it will be sold as is from us - A CEFX Evolution Upgrade Kit for a Photon. It's not possible for us to OEM the parts from TOP or get this together as a complete kit.
Actually, there has been a lot of confusion between myself and TOP Racing as of late. As of this morning, I was terminated from TOP Racing so I no longer drive or engineer for the company. It's a very long story and really it doesn't need to be aired here...
After a lot of talking and consideration with my wife and family we have chosen to push forward with CEFX as was the origional plan back some 6-7 years ago. We will focus on making the best 1/12 and 1/10 cars on the market and as we can develop, grow and evolve we will try to get our cars into complete kits.
We've had an amazing year in the 1/10 oval market with our Lithium. Lot's of race TQ's, wins and sales. Our Griffin 1/12 sales have been quiet but I think a lot of people don't really know what to expect with us as our sales/support has been up and down over the years. I am confident we have the best 1/12 car on the market right now as was evident with the sucess of the Griffin at the IIC, Cleveland, Birds and especially the ROAR Nats by covering the entire field by over a lap. Now, we have the Evolution to continue to move forward and be a leader in racing development for both TC and pan car markets, oval and on-road.
It's going to be a lot of work but now with 100% focus on CEFX I am confident we will get things to the level I think we are capable of in a rapid amount of time.
Speaking of which, I have to finish preparing for the TOUR Finals in Greeneville, TN this weekend (oval race for those that don't know) so I will try to post news/updates and answer questions here, the CEFX site and e-mails as promptly as possible.
Thanks!!

Josh, sad to see you and TOP have parted ways. I'm sure TOP would not be where it is today without you! All the best with CEFX. And hope to see you in a light blue tourer in future! Maybe...
The conversion looks awesome by the way. Very nice design indeed!

veecee - Thanks. With my creativity and stubborness I will probably just go it alone for a while with CEFX and see where it takes me.
After the events of today, we actually spoke briefly about making the other parts needed to offer this conversion for other cars on the market. Really though, I would need to get a few cars to do some measuring and drawing. Besides, I don't know the interest so I would have to feel that out to decide which cars to work on... Any suggestions??
