There will be pit spacing for 200 racers. So no, you do not need to bring your own. There will also be space for you to bring your own if you wish.

The last part is incorrect. There will be no space for personal pit tables.200 pits spots is quite adequate for all participants.

Default pit space

i got my own pit trailer,3 of us from my track are planing on bringing it up to pit in. ( i brought it to last years reedy!) i noticed that on the air shots of the track that there should be a spot close to the track in the side parking lot or the field next to the track, i heard they were going to use for parking. it will fit in one parking stall.

pakk, You should stop speaking for NorCal. You're giving false information and you're not part of the organizing crew.

understood. Just trying to help.

At the drivers meeting this last sunday, it was mentioned that there would be pit spacing for 200 racers. There was no mention of not being able to pit outside like I have always seen done. I was planning to bring my own table and pit outside.

But the man has spoken. I'll pit inside like everyone else.

for this and any other questions I would call the shop and ask Eric or Kevin (510)324-5700 and get the answer from them so you know the answer is correct.

Bringing the trailer is fine, we do have ample parking. You'll be able to put the trailer in the lot next to the store. Be advised however - you will not be allowed to park a vehicle overnight on the premises or the property intended for parking.

Default Race Schedule

Hi

Greetings from Singapore !

Would a race schedule be coming up on the event website ? Just wondering when practice etc would start on Thurs/Friday, how it would be run. Would it be conducted by groups, and if so would we be able to find out which groups we are being placed in.

Am looking forward to the event and meeting everyone.

Cheers

HoJo

HoJo,
Per the website this is the schedule.....

Practice - Will be controlled format on Thursday and Friday.

Qualifying - will begin on Saturday, using the IFMAR format. 17.5 and 13.5 will be 6 minutes in length, Modified and Invitational will be 5 minutes in length. The qualifying points system will be used, your best 2 of 4 rounds will be counted. There will be a resort after rounds 2 and 3.

Mains - will be Triple for A finals and Single mains for all lower.
Invitational – Tire Control - You will have 4 sets of tires for use during the Reedy Race of Champions. Only in the odd numbered rounds will you be able to run brand new tires. Even numbered rounds must be on re-runs. On new tires – only the mold seem may be removed. Tires must retain the original shine with exception of the center of the tire for the seam removal. Traction compounds and tire warmers may be used but cannot be presented to tech wet or with warmers on. Traction compounds and warmers may not be used after passing tech.

This is a great facility and the crew here are very friendly and helpful...Great job guys. The track is easy on the tires, and so far has decent grip, and will no doubt get much better as the week goes on.

I just spoke with the Holiday Inn Express, there's only a few rooms left that I reserved. Today is the last day that they're holding rooms for me. After today, you can still get the Reedy rate, but the hotel is likely to reach capacity. Email Maria [email protected] to get your reservation in.

In the event Holiday Inn fills up, Motel 6 is still available, email Shan [email protected]

Both of these hotels are 1 mile from the track.

This is going to be a great event thanks to the guys at Norcal and the racers attending. I can't wait for Thursday!
