I am waiting the arrival of the gear diff Spec-R, now I'm using 3Racing gear diff 38 pulley, at the rear with the original drive shafts 44 mm and at the front with the DCJ 44mm.

Default Gearing question.

Hey dudes,

I just got myself an SP 3.5T and the SP GT 2.0 ESC and was wondering if you guys can share your gearing plz Even if you don't run SP, as long as it's between 3-4T. Before I had a Novak setup and I was running 115 pinion and 41 spur which I took from the chart at back of the manual. I never really had the chance to see if I was under or over-geared or not coz the ESC blew and two of my batteries puffed nicely and I believe gearing was one of the suspect so I really don't want it to happen again. But whilst I had my Novak setup, i just did the typical place your hands on the ESC and motor and if you can leave you hand on it for a period of time or without dis-comfort your gearing is okay. Please spare me if I got it wrong lol, still new to this hobby.

Thanks

Hello guys,

Anyone here knows of a more robust/durable CVD solution for the TCX in front ?. But something "plug and play" ?, without mixing components ?, direct fit ?

thanks !

I'm fairly certain a 46mm steel driveshaft will become available. We will have to wait for now...

get the Pro-D steel shafts...plug and play without issue..

technically, you are already mixing components - the aluminum shaft and the steel axle so this way, you are getting HB/HPI steel upper and lower parts
