Hi,

Does anyone know what the largest 48dp spur gear that will fit on the tcx is? Can it take bigger spurs than the tc?

Also does anyone know if Hotbodies will be producing a steel 46mm dogbone to be used in the front driveshafts?

Hi Korey, from the pictures I've seen it looks like the TCX chassis will be soft in that it has a lot of cutouts, at least that's the way it looks to me. Have you run this car (prototype) on high grip carpet ? I'm interested in you thoughts.
Thanks.

I wish I can say I have run the new car, but I have not.

Honestly... cutouts don't instantly mean flex. Look at my exotek chassis... It's a wet noodle/warm twizzler and it barely has any. I've run the exotek on very high bite carpet and it's been awesome. I wouldn't be to worried.

from the manual it gives ratios up to a 116t 64dp spur. so if that would fit
doing the maths I estimate around 87t 48p might actually still fit.

i think reading the posts, everyone is looking forward to the release of the car in there area

if there is someone out there that can put an approx date of releases to places that would be good,

i live in New Zealand and we have to wait for Auusie to get it then it comes to us from there

i have ordered one and hope it wont be too far away so i can start setting it up ready for racing

I see Tower Hobbies dropped the preorder price from $549 to $499 over the weekend. Must mean they are getting closer.
