HAHAHA....I was in Ohio for the Grand Finale at The Gate....I was seeing just how bad I could blow out and how far I could flip my car off the track. I think I got to about level 9.5 on both of them.... Last time at the Track my car was really good TQed just got peeled in the main which seems to be a theme at the track lately. The TA Nationals will be awesome I know how well my car works so we will see if I keep the blowouts in Ohio with Seaball and do something. See you saturday....or Friday if you are going to get out there then.

What is the height from the top of the chassis to the bottom of the top deck in the Mi3?

I think that I am picking one up to replace my TC5 and need to get measurements to make sure that my lipos fit ok.

Also, what is the part number for the battery hold on system?

Josh:

nah mate,

I was actually down in brissy on the easter weekend for a holiday and i was all packed up ready to go racin until we got an email sayin no racing on easter sunday

btw, I have already improve alot on the setup that I posted haha, keeps getting faster every weekend! I now do the same lap times as the Jovanovics and Simon Nicholson

Although the set-up only works with a 5cell (forward) chassis, not sure about lipo, unless you put all the weight at the front. I might post it sometime this week.

I could give you a list of about 400 things.

Wait until you get there try the track out and then make your changes.

If you need to ask, you need a Core 5000....

Sorry I couldn't help myself

You actually have 25mm from the chassis to the bottom of the bulkhead so most LiPo's will fit without issue.

My little battery strap LiPo trick uses Part U3222, shims and a bit of ingenuity

One of the few things I've never raced is foam TC on asphalt. I'd imagine you're going to pick up a bit of traction, but not anywhere near as much as on the rug. Maybe just stiffen up the suspension a step or two and heavier oil 10 - 15 wt. and see how it handles. Do guys usually run spools with foams on asphalt?

Barger....Like Jon said a little heavier oil is needed on your standard tarmac setup. I ran foams on asphalt for a couple years and most times a Rubber Tire Carpet Setup would work great with foams and a front diff. Foams on an electric sedan is awesome and even better on a larger type track.....just make sure you point and laugh when passing a 200mm nitro sedan on the straight.

Just bought a Mi3! Hopefully will be receiving it next week! Cant wait.

Where can I find the U3222 battery strap in the US? I only see U2985 on the Mi3 parts page (Chassis Parts) on the Schumacher USA web page.

Any help would be appreciated. May have to make my own...

Chirag, just search for u3222 on the U.S. page, there's a search box on the bottom left.
