if you promise to turn your caplock of ill tell you....

ok ill tell you anyway

Less Caster:
• Decreased straight-line stability.
• Increased off-power steering at corner entry.
• Increased suspension efficiency.
• Decreased on-power steering at mid-corner and corner exit.

More Caster
• Increases straight-line stability.
• Decreased off-power steering at corner entry.
• Increased on-power steering at mid-corner and corner exit.
• Makes the car more stable through bumpy track conditions.

All of this is found in the HUDY Setup Book

Hey Guys,
Its been awhile since i have run my FK (04) and i need to refresh my memory. I saw the guys at my track running again and i just wanted to join in.

-How do i calculate rollout for a small track?
-Is running a one-way fine for indoor carpet? (i have before and it was okay)
-What shock oil in front and rear (just the regular Xray 30wt?) how many holes open front and rear? (1,3?)

Jon

-rollout... try www.gearchart.com (i guess)
-one-way... id rather use a diff, better for high grip
-oil... well you could just use 30 and close all holes up front and leave some open in the back.. thats just my personal pref though

I have the exact same car as you and am curious
Also, im guessing you have your shock mounts on your arms ground down?

If you look at the 2nd pic, there really isnt that big of an angle. Almost vertical. I have never run the car like this yet, but a couple of guys at my LHS have and there the FAST A main drivers here.

Ground down?
