Exotek now comes in a 2.3mm chassis and I thought finish was pretty good. I think the grip at our track is preeetttyyy good to have someone traction roll on asphalt.

I noticed that the latest lot of T3 chassis are now 2.3, has this changed recently as the one I have is 2.0mm thick or have they always been 2.3 and I happen to have an odd one ??.

No, they just changed them in the last batch they received mid June. They had their guys test them during the Reedy race and came to the conclusion that the 2.3 was the best.

Sounds nice! And are you saying more stable and easy to drive compared to stock, or exotek?

Im not a fan of carpet racing lol, id rather race asphalt. But thats interesting, I wonder how it compares now with the thicker exotek? Must be about the same

Agreed with comments above, the reverse of this is that I feel the Exotek tends to over grip the car when the grip comes up due to only being 2.0mm thick.
Someone that has a smokem chassis needs to get the thicker exotek chassis now and re compare Im curious now, they have got to be very similar if there the same thickness, just a few different cut outs

Haha I want to man! But id probably mess it up somehow LOL

Yeah the biggest thing I want is just a narrow chassis that wont rub the ground, my car works great, but it has got to be scrubbing some corner speed judging by how scraped mine is lol. And my chassis is wayyy beveled to try and stop that

I can say the t3 with the 2.5mm chassis was amazing on carpet for me on high bite carpet. I would do a lap for warm up and maybe make a change. But once I had a setup my car was on rails/ great consistency/ great corner speed/ great grip without scrubbing. I am curious what the next evolution will have.
