If you scroll back a few pages you'll find the parts that will need tobe replaced with genuine tamiya parts first to make it race worthy.

Once you do that you can run modified, thats what Im doing.
PM me if you cant find my list of parts to be replaced.

I have been running the 416WE(C) for sometime now and having a blast! For a fraction of the original price I think this is a good buy. Just stay away from the track dividers and you should be fine (come to think of it even the real thing will break when in contact with dividers dont they? )

Okay, now I am expecting haters to chime in.

Nit picker hater

I had to change only the drive shaft cushion once till date despite running a 60A 5.5T motor, the out drive is still intact. I still think it is not that bad afterall.

I see that you have that cushion issue with your original WE as well. So what's the diff with the one made from China?

Benefit of the doubt, let say the outdrive wears out faster I would simply replace it with a double star unit with the cost saved and still have as much fun with it.

PM, RCmarket, he is the only one who can get them.
Here are some Hi-res pics of the TRF416WE chinese replica!
I hopped up the car with 44mm steel uni's up front, Limtied ed. black pulley's, little misc. parts.

Those black center pulley's came stock!

The carbon fibre is actually quite nice! it sands easily
and has stylish looks! The only drawback is all
peices are 2.6mm, top deck, chassis, towers, etc.

Original 416 is 2.25 top and chassis plate, this car is 2.5 for both.
