If anyone can handle a 10.5 in a 2WD car it's you... but after you spend $45 on a set of foams each weekend drop a 21.5 and some rubber tires...

Boys play with foam, Men race with rubber !

1st run with kit tyres, no shock spring and silver front springs the car was sliding a little but it was very well balanced and easy to drive. No twitchiness to speak of.

2nd run with same setup and Kawada 25 rears and 40 fronts, it was a pile... It was almost impossible to drive with way too much front end grip. Twitchy everywhere, way too much steering. Changed to black front springs which was only very slightly better.

3rd run with same setup and Kawada 25 rears and 35 fronts, and it was actually a little better - surprising considering it was a softer front tyre... But it was still difficult to drive smoothly.

I also tried the kit rears with the 40 fronts and it was similarly twitchy. This makes me believe that the Kawada fronts are way too grippy. Anybody else tried these tyres???
Have you tried the Kawahara foams? They come in packs of 4s.. quite worth while.

I haven't tried the Kawahara's. I wanted to try them but was told by a reputable source from Japan that they went out of business. So I'm not too keen on trying something I can't get in future.

Not very detailed, but you can make something of it.....
I took the plunge and ordered a set. Nice set of basic decals for Ferrari, Mclaren, Red Bull and Jaguar. Also 2 small sheets of Brigstone and Potenza wheel decals. Hope he keeps selling these and I wonder if he has other types.

Erm Kawahara is dead, but Zac Project is not. The tires are headed by Yuruki Kazuya, they are branded now under Zac Project / tabata. Here is his blog http://www.yurugix.com/

17.5 on rubber is overkill... you can ONLY lay down full throttle on the straight
for a couple of seconds... 21.5 is a much better balance and still has plenty of power to get yourself in trouble

It is a problem with cars that do not use a thrust bearing.
Thx for info. I changed bearing but unfortunately the car turn surprisingly
to the left during acceleration ...

I´m not sure if the spur gear with only 5 ball its good option or use ball bearing instead thrust bearing for this kit

Thx for any help...

Chassis is tweaked.
losen all screws, place on flat surface and tighten each one half a turn until all tight again.
Also try to use a spur with as many balls as possible. One in my CRC has 18 balls
