I have a few questions:
Thanks in advance.
- When I change to a red shock spring, what gear ratio should I use? That would depend on if you are running a red shock with the red spring, if so, start with a 200mm rollout
- If I run with a lighter weight shock oil, do I have to add lead weight to make up the difference?Actually you should look into the Hop Up option helium reservoir that piggybacks the shock, ive heard its worth 3 tenths a lap at Aliso
- When I turn my steering wheel to the left, my car goes forward. When I turn it to the right, it does nothing. I'm trying go 170mph so any help would be appreciated. Try changing the alarm buzzer setting on your radio, this should correct the problem. To go 170, you will need the Limited Edition Dave Jun TRF " Night Rider" conversion kit with turbo boost, testing has shown it to be good for 200mph
- I painted a body from the inside and put stickers on it but the finish is still dull. How do you get yours to be so shiny? A nice even coat of " I cant believe its not butter" will bring the finish up to better than concourse condition
- If I use velcro to hold my battery in, what gear ratio should I use? velcro can work, but a nice worn out shoelace is about a half a second faster, make sure you do a nice cross lace pattern and u will get extra style points for leaving it untied.
Hope this is helpful !!!
Thanks in advance.

No you do not add lead weight, you find the shock oil that suits the way you drive on the track you are driving.
You have your speed controller receiver wire in the steering slot
Did you remove the proctective film from the outside of the shell?
How you hold in a battery make no difference to the gear ratio

Best Polycarbonate Paint Color for Red Bull
Can someone recommend the closest polycarbonate paint color for a Red Bull livery? (This is not a sarcastic question, but a real request BTW).

You could also try mixing Faskolor paints to try and get the right shade.
Add Fasblack to Fasblue in small increments until you get the right color

If you use the Tamiya Blue (PS) and get a nice even coat, then back it with black, it will probably get you real close to the color of the RB.

I use Tamiya's PS-39 Translucent Light Blue on all my Redbull cars. I literally use an entire can (sprayed in light coats of course ) and back it with bright silver. The blue isn't an exact redbull match...but it's pretty. I've seen deeper metallic blues and wonder how people get that? Maybe PS-38?
