Default Schumi/Brawn - Mercedez-Benz

I'd like to see what the next car will look like from these winners.

Mmmm, that Brawn GP body looks good! The front wing looks awfully thin though. Speaking of which, how are you guys finding the durability of the stock F104 wing? I run on a track with plastic wall barriers, which are fairly hard on touring cars in places, I wonder how the open wheeled F104 will fare. Hopefully it is strong, and if not I will just have to drive pretending that it is a real F1 car, no mistakes!

The front wing on the F104 holds up well, and believe me if you saw my driving you would agree that it has copped a hiding.....the rear wing is a bit fragile. I've broken mine twice, but been able to patch it up. I need to look into a more robust rear wing to suit my driving style

The 3Racing wings are very durable, the front wing does not fit with the 104 body, but the rear works perfect

That is a LRPX12 17.5, I have been trying to find a balance in speed to match, not exceed what a silvercan can do.

A week ago it was a 13.5 that seemed about right, after v203 it seems a 17.5 might be closer.

The 1 cell has very nice packaging for this chassis.

Some of the folks around here are running 21.5 2s, the problem I see with this is that as speedo hardware and software improves it becomes unfair to run in the same class as silvercans, and where do you go for a slower BL than 21.5 ?

mccrash59, I don't know where you live but you are very lucky!! To have over 20 F1 racers is awesome!! Where I live in upstate New York it is "redneck" dirt oval country and the only type of on-road racing they like up here is NASCAR oval. There are only 3 of us that like F1 so our local track is reluctant to start an F1 class. I envy you.

Thanks mate! I live nearby Madrid, in Spain. We have one of the biggest clubs in the country with up to 4 tracks in the facilities. A huge asphalt track for nitro cars, an smaller track for electric cars, another one for 18th scale and a 10th scale off road electric track. We are so proud and last year we held a lot of national events.
Man, nascar always was a redneck sport (just kidding, nowadays is followed all over the globe). F1 is a real nice class, and if you practice in da track every week for sure a lot of people will be hooked. Paint your cars as Indy ovals to attract your neighbours

I am thinking of getting a f104 but I don’t know which one to get. What’s the difference between the pro kit and the Ferrari Kit there is a big price difference between the two.

Thanks Pyro

Default GET THE PRO

The pro comes with all the upgrades your gonna want for the 104 at a fraction of the cost if you buy it after. Just get a Pro104 and buy the F60 body if you want that body.
I just ordered the pro for 179 from towerhobbies as they have promotional discounts.
