What is the lowest turn motor the Revention S will be OK with in a 2wd buggy?

Temps on the ESC were about 100 degrees if that. Probably benefits a lot that the fan stays on.

What FDR do people recommend for:
- 17.5 Blinky Touring 7.4V
- Using V3.0 Competition motor with the 20 degree green timing board
- Carpet Track, Rubber Tires
- 50 x 50 track size max
I was thinking starting at 5.0 FDR and working from there?

You'll get passed @5 I'm running 96/41*1.95=4.74 17.5 boosted A LOT with MMM V3 17.5 and GT Pro. Motor coming off at 140. If its really tight you might want to run a little higher to increase corner to corner speeds... That is assuming you are going to be running SP motor. In a non boosted class a reedy sonic, duo3.5 or revtech might be a better choice... They are higher KV.
Hi guys, new to TC. Just bought new Rev PRO esc. Combo with Yeah Racing HACKMOTO 13.5T. Timing set at 15°. FDR 5.85. What setup should I run? Track asphalt, medium, temp around 28° to 33°.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Green board in the middle geared at a 3.6 or so will be plenty fast

Thanks for your reply.
I would like that you confirm the information.
If I add the internal and external timing I will have the following timing, per motors with their original unit sensor.
1C105V3 Competition V3.0 1 Cell Motor - 10.5R. 12-15º minimum and 22-25º maximun.
138105V3 Competition V3.0 Brushless Motor - 10.5R. 12-15º minimum and 22-25º maximun.
SP000037 1/10 Competition MMM series 10.5R Brushless Motor. 23-26º minimum and 32-35º maximun.
Is that correct? Thanks.

JoseLu

I had the green board full left (so 20 degree or "0" as the can shows) and with FDRs ranging from 4.2 to 3.6 the motor faded about 3 minutes in to practice runs.
I am going to try a higher FDR and see if that helps. We starting out though, very fast, good torque considering its the 12.3 rotor.
