I've test fitted some yokomo parts on today, (spool, belts)
And it seems to fit no probs. I would imagine that the 1 way would fit no issues also, and if you use the BD pulley it fits fine also.

Personally i've had no issues with the rear blades for driveshafts. I think you could maybe just take about 0.5mm off the plastic nut housing in the diff, that could be one solution I think.

Also if you feel there may be an issue with the blades getting stretched as you put them over the end of the shaft.I personally warm them up a little with a lighter to make sure they return to their shape.... Be careful not to burn them though as this will weaken them.

Hth guys

Is there going to be one available for my Photon ?
Perhaps a 416 one would fit but I would need a pulley for it.
I know of 2 people that are testing the Scythe 1-way in the Photon and looks like a little shimmimg and it fits....

I posted it a few pages back. My BD5 complete oneway fits in a Photon. I already tested fitted it in a sponsored car at the local track. You just need to pull the orings out of the drive cups (I think that's all that needed to be done.)

I don't want to turn this into a photon vs brand thread, but I would like to know.

To the people who have owned xrays, preferably the most recent ones, can you compare the photon as far as fit and quality goes.

i have owned just about every car out and it rates up near the top for sure imo.

Fit and finish was a 9 same as an xray.

Pakk, you have the unique opportunity to check the car out face to face.Norcal Hobbies is the home of a bunch of Photons. With E.J. and Kevin Jelich there all the time, you can go there and compare yourself. There are now about 8 photons locally and they have been running very well. Now to compare, you can check out Kevin Woods Xray 009 and see for your self.IMO you can go wrong wit either. They actually handle very similar from the examples I have driven recently. You will end up dumping that TC5 in a second.

I know. There are photons every where at norcal. But I'm not going to just go up to people and say, "Can I touch your car?" I'm still new and want people to get used to me a little more. Plus, if you race at norcal, there is a good chance that I have either wrecked you or caused you to wreck.
