auto cell detection has some issues when it comes to 3s and 4s. A charged 3s is near or at the voltage of a discharged 4s. It takes all of a few button presses to change this setting currently. We'd need a good reason to change it.

In regards to a 1s esc ....no comment.

Hope to see you at the IIC. Think you can comment by then? More LOL

I really like the new Hotwire Guide...Great job!

Hi I read a lot of pages so sorry if this has been answered

I am new to brushless but not 12th and what is the set up regarding receiver pack or booster with RS pro

Andvantages/Disadvantages:

Receiver pack - ?

Booster - ?

And is it hard to set it up for 12th with open mod or 17.5

I have no idea how to set RS Pro up for motors

Can someone give me quick run through

Thank you very much

p.s. Any pics of 12th with these two things set up for visualization purposes only...lol

I use a booster, one less thing to remember to charge.

Some guys like LiFePo RX Packs because they're usually a bit higher voltage than the common boosters to run the radio gear.

It's personal preference. I've been using a TQ booster for a while now with zero issues.

No more rollover antennas anymore

Hence more exercise for turn-marshals

I noticed the transponders also got smaller but yours looks regular

Thanks

We have found that roll over antennas, when used, will most often act as a spring and make the car flop back over again if it gets upset for any reason. Every 12th at my track runs 'em for just that reason.

So there's no rule against still running them. We had them over 25 yrs ago and it's awesome for car to self "rollover" ...lol

My last track made us use them too. Its part of the nostalgia of the class.

They're illegal in every class EXCEPT 1/12 scale.

Seem to save the cars from a bit more damage too, don't have a car getting launched over head high after flipping in a corner and having a mobile ramp drive under it at full speed.
