As far as I know they are the same, it's just they seem to be rare. Don't know if Tamiya has released some more kits or whether etamiya.com have kept some in stock and are charging more money because their is still some demand. At that price you would be better off buying the MSX Refine 2 kit instead.

Yeah for $320 it would make more since to just buy the whole car kit

Hi guys

Race report for last night:
Car was loose all the way around. I had the stock setup on there with 6MM ride height all around (we have a bumpy asphalt track, very dusty too), Takeoff CS22. Whenever I would go into a corner or turn, the rear would slide out easily on its own. I took off the front swaybar (yellow), and got a little more grip in the back, but not by much.

The second qualifier went pretty smoothly. For some reason, for the first two laps, the car is very slippery and the back end tended to slide out, but after those two laps, the car was grippy and felt great. Anyone know what's going on?

Same thing happened in the main.

I had the exact same problem when I first got my MSX - it felt like the rear tyres were taking too long to heat up, hence the rear sliding for the first couple of laps.

I ended up discovering that I wasn't drying my tyres enough after cleaning them or applying traction compound
