the yokomo parts are for making a diff.
if you want a spool buy a speedtech one or you can grind and epoxy your oneway...
i bought the parts for a second oneway to epoxy as a spool, works very well, less chatter than the speedtech i found also (and more blue haha)...

The tires are way too big out of the package. I start mine at 2.35 for club racing and run them from there. Big races most guys start the tires smaller than that. Some guys run their club race tires down to a certain point, true them to around 2.3 or smaller and then bag them up and save them for the big races.

1. how many teeth are on the diff pully? hope it 35

2. would the 415 belt be too wide for the x-ray diff pully?

3. can 415 diff pully fit the x-ray diff halves and diff rings?

I always weight it with batts motor etc in place. Then I set the shocks with the same amount of pre-load, and then place it on a tweak boards and position the weight as required.

#1: the diff pulley's do have 35 teeth.
#2: no, the belts should fit...I do believe the the Tamiya belts are wider though (I could be wrong)...3mm v.s 2.5mm
#3: it would be nice to be able to use the X-Ray diff becuase it is sealed...after every day I have to rebuild my current diffs to pull the carpet fibers out of them!

The last time i checked i am sure xray diffs were off center? I presumethe spool will fit as you can just mount the diff pully on the other side of the mounting flange so its centered on the spool and not off centered like how the xrays run it, this is not possible on a diff though. Rick

I finished building the car at 4PM yesterday then crawled through traffic to race it at SoCal Raceway. For my first time racing electric. I am excited that the car was easy to get used to and only got better as the night went on. The car was a dream to build and much faster than I expected. One thing I noticed was that the car has lots of steering. I had to dial down the speed to 50%. I am sure I will do good wiht the car at the next race.

What kind of tires and inserts should I be using at SoCal?

A question you guys might be able to help me out on. I thought I have seen alumimum c hubs and front steering blocks for the 415 what car are they from and if a can what part numbers are they?

If the car is running the old suspension, it is probably the parts made by Square for the EvoIII. If the car is running the LW suspension, again from Square for the EvoIV. If you want something cheaper, Eagle racing makes some knuckles but in purple. Speedtech should have the Square bits.
