Ok but if You look at gear ratio chart in the manual 36t pinion is the largest listed with a 96t 64p Spur.
Are you sure 96/43 will fit?
So now an other question comes up what is the largest pinion with 96t Spur that still fit's with enough play between both spur and pinion?

I cannot believe that Oleg design an build's something that we can only use with one Spur Gear so please Oleg help us
I've found some other smaller gears that could work -- but haven't focus on trying the SD1 much. I really like the at12m with the normal at20. It prevents the possibility of your spur getting loose and allows you to run any gear brand you like.

You don't need a spear gear with just 2 holes. I've used Kimbrough, CRC, Xenon, Xray for both stock classes and Mod. With CRC you do have to be careful the width of the gear is a bit wide and may rub on the motor bulk head so you have to sand one edge to make it clear.

For 17.5 and 13.5 use a 82 64p
for Mod us 96 64p

If your running a 10.5 to 8.5 with little or no timing from the ESC I would use something around 88-90.

Yes.

My son has been using Xray. I've used Kimbrough, ARC, CRC so far.

I'm currently using ARC and like it the best so far, there narrow and strong.

Without the SD1 I like the RW white gears, the nut seems to dig into the material well and not come loose.

Hi!
Another new proud A700L owner!
I am a little curious is screwing the ballstud from under AM18-1 can achieve the same link/roll center setting than AM19 without any shim? Probably not very practical or the ballcup may also hit something
I thought of that after ordering some AM19 to try an outdoor setup.
I know it was already talk about but just to be certain on the top deck screws setting a white dot mean something screwed without any ST09 and a red dot no screw or something with a ST09 under?
Thanks!
Alexandre

welcome to the team

not sure where you are talking about the ball stud on the am18-1. the am18-1 will have a longer link than the AM19. am18-1 should be same length as FFG top mounts.

for the top deck -- red dot means st09 collar installed. more info about that here--

OK thanks it's clearer now!
I don't want to look like a guy that's arguing so I will try to borrow an Am18-1 from a friend when I will receive the Am19 to take measurements and show what I mean if it's an interesting alternative for cheap guys like myself.
Sometimes even in French I have difficulty to make my friends understand me!
Cheers
