I actually had to look that acronym up.

But yes I do know some racers use the 008/009 arms on the 007 to achieve the middle shock mount location on the arm also. Just one more tuning option alot of racers don't think about.
I only mentioned it as one of our guys changed just one of the arms and ended up with a split set and couldn't figure out why his car acted strange in the corners. Sorry if I insulted anyone.

hi guys
my car has good balanced r-l but I've check the weight it's 1550gm where min allowed 1450gm so it's 100gm over weight ...
I don't use any tray and packs sits perfectly to the battery holes...
should I hang out the battery to remove those weight leads and balance the car? Which I know is not the ideal way to balance the car...
all added weight leads on battery side...
any advice welcome
thanx in advance

body with heavy paint can add a ton of weight.

i don't really hang my batteries off the side, but i do use a ppd plate with smc 5200 40c with 28g of weight on the side of the battery and i come in weight at about 1460 or so.

Balance is very important, but how to get it can be hard to do. Obviously dumping 100gms should be done for sure. Probably a pic of your setup or a discription of what rxr, sc, servo and motor would help in figuring out what to do, also if your running extra fans or heat sinks on the motor or sc too. Are you using the balance buttons to check your car or scaling it? to know that your balance is good right now. The xray setup with the "L" brackets and the brass weights for the middle of the car work well, but then you have your pack hanging out there, which sort of defeats the whole idea of the lipo pads on the car. Need a little more info about your rig.

ok
Lrp cooler
Hacker-Orion motors,RS pro esc,Spectrum pro normal receiver,KO 2413 ICS servo,amb transponder...
on the other side IP5000 and IP3800 lipos with added weight leads both 234 grams and 30+30 grams of weight on chassis in front and rear of the lipo nothing else
That huge motor cooler makes the car harder to balance,It's own weight and extra weight on the lipo side to balance...
I think That's the trouble but I don't want to remove it to be honest...
Also Bodyshell another 100grams
Thanx for all helpfull posts

light weight bodys are around 60 or so grams that would help you and yess loose the motor cooler if you can.

The cooler will present a problem. From what I saw most guys are dumping the coolers and making fan holders out of lexan, just enough to blow air over the motor and not worry about pulling heat from the motor with the heat sink. The spectrum normal rxr is another item that if possible go to one of the smaller ones. Like you said, you now thats the biggest part of the balance problem right there (cooler) I'm sure you have heard all the other stuff about smaller this and that, and thats great if its in the budget, but if not you have to work with what you have and, again, the cooler is a biggy, I fought with the exact same issue till I talked to Drew Ellis and he showed me his fan holder, bare minimum, but it keeps the air moving over the motor which seems to help more than the heat sink. I'd start with that.
