Oval is the big thing in N Fl though. Its fun but cant touch touring. I wish there were more touring tracks closer by. With gas prices the way they are and driving a Chevy truck, well, alot of out of town races are hard lol.

When you set up your clutch on your Evolva do you shim it so that the clutch bell wont push down onto the clutch shoe.I was putting a couple of shims under the first bearing but it seemed to still be touching the clutch shoe,So I continued to put shims under the bearing until I noticed that it was spinning more free and not touching the clutch but It took about 1.5 mm of shims to keep it off the clutch.Is this how I should run it?And I am running a small amont of end play alsoI would say about .2-.4 mm in that area.And I tighten the clutch nut to about 1.25-1.3 mm.If you get a chance can look over this and tell me what you think.

josh - we had a race yesterday at one of the local tracks. it was a nitro race with a bit of electric on the side. so by the end of the nitro day (3mains) we finished our electric mains unfortunatly the track was full of nitro gunk and foam residue it made the track kinda slippery when go off the racingline. at the first lap i got a good jump on the grid and led the race when at the end of the straight something happeded and all i know is that the car flew towards the fence and hit the perimiter fence sideways at when i was able to take good a look at the car it was CUT IN HALF. i was holding my half of my car in each hand. i really felt bad and hope that i never have to feel that way again. but "THATS RACING"

josh: how would a solid rear diff drive feel on a G4 with a one-way infront? or a solid front diff w/ a rear differential drive? thanks for the set-up sheets you sent me...

I am looking for a little help with the rear camberlink options on FK. Can someone please tell me how I would mount the camber link in either of the outer holes on the shock tower?
I am also noticing that most of team setups I am am seeing use the inner link postion ( shorter link) on the carrier, can someone please tell me what they have experieced when running the camber link in the outer postion on the hub?
Is anyone still using the rollcenter bridge, if so what do you gain with it?

Well, if you're going to use the outer holes on the Factory car, you'll have to bevel the inside edges of the rear hubs so that the turnbuckles/camber links don't hit the top of the hub, limiting up travel. On my Evo2, I prefered the outer holes on the hubs due to the increased stability it provided. But, on the Factory car, I use the inner holes and have found that the inner holes with the short arms are as stable as the outer holes with the long arms.
I haven't used the roll center bridge, so I can't really give an opinion on that one, though.
