This post is for Brad at F1Paintlab:

Any progress with decals for the VF1 cars yet?...specifically the Lotus 49, The Eagle, and Honda? Any progress with putting together a VF1 Package yet? Manny said you were working on that.

The weather here in the northeast is finally improving to the point that we can begin parking lot racing again and we would love to race a VF1 series of our own.

I would love to see less recent liveries for the F1 cars like the Orange-sponsored Arrows car from the early 2000s, the Mtv Simtek car from 1994, etc. I also like the Minardi Lamborghini livery. If you go to F1rejects.com, there are some interesting liveries there.
I am still hoping for a Sahara Force India decal set.

The F60 front wing tends to bend up if you tap a board and will not affect anything. I felt that the 2012 front wing totally upset the handling of my car. It has so much more down force that it made the car totally unbalanced. I am sure you can adjust for that, but with the front wing being such an issue with dragging I just tossed the F60 back on and the car was great again. If they figure out a fix for the 2012 wing it would be a killer body set. So my pick from now ones the F60.
Hey, thanks for the tips, you too edhchoe

What about using the stock F104 Pro body? It has the older narrower front wing and lower rear, i'm guessing not as much downforce and more straight light speeds?

The order is going in for the chassis pieces. I need to get back with Manny and figure out when he will be shipping the bodies. I have been looking at the cars from this era, and I am not sure if it is worth doing individual sheets for every car, or a sheet that would let you do any car

Please keep us informed of your progress with this Brad; and I hope that you do offer at least some decals, specifically the Lotus 49. We currently have no other source for these decals in the right scale and quality.

I think a single sheet with different option could work. Looking at the pictures of 1967 season, even the font of the numbers seemed to be almost identical. Most of the stickers would have been Shell, Firestone, Ford, STP, Champion etc.
It would be nice if the sticker sheet would come with driver names. A survey of potential decal buyers could determined that list.
