ANYTHING BUT BRUSHLESS MOTOR
Hi can somebody educate me regarding "Motor Timing" I want to purchase a sensored brushless motor, but in any answerd i've got they always say "adjust the motor timing"
How can i do that?
any suggestion site with step by step procedure you can link?

What will be the reaction of my motor if i increase the "advancing" timing?
same as changing the degree to "retarding" what will be the effect?

With that said, advancing the timing isn't always needed. It is a tuning option that can be used, but if you don't really know how to take advantage of it you don't need to use it. There are other ways to go faster.

What is the natural/ok temp of a motor after running for brush and brushless?

Thanks for all the answerd
I just wondering whether to get a brushed 19t motor or brushless 10.5 motor
thats the reason im gathering info before to jump to another boat.

good work
1) levels the playing field far more wiht these motors as tuning yields very minimal differences as compared to brushed.
2) far less maintenance
3) no fade as motor gets warmer
4) not sure how many more runs per motor but I think it is likely 2-3x (or more)the number of runs out of properly maintained brushed.
5)the move away from brushed is happneing very fast making much of the brushed stuff worthless in resale.

IMHO Brushless because;

2) far less maintenance
3) no fade as motor gets warmer
