It is 195mm wide. Obviously not VTA legal, but cool anyway.

I only ran my Firebird body one club race day and it was holding up well...other than the front tires rubbing the underside of the body and removing the paint. I didn't Shoe Goo the body at all and it was going fine, but admittedly I didn't hit much stuff out there. I would definitely Shoe Goo the front clip on. Mine was only taped/screwed into place and it wasn't very secure.

I re-read this and I think you are wanting to know if I paint for other people besides myself? Yes! Quite a bit for local racers and others in the US. I've even shipped some overseas.
This is a link to a page with all the bodies I've done. Sorry that I don't have them by category like VTA, SCT, etc.

I paint on the side for hobby money. Keeps me out of arguments with wifeypoo. She seems to think that spending money on things like clothes, food, and heat is more important that R/C stuff. I know, crazy huh?

With this tape, you put a real thin coat on with your finger, then cut the tape to length and press it tight. Then coat the whole thing with a thicker coat of Goop/ShooGoo. Makes the repair really strong.
Its called "Wing Joining Tape" and it comes from Great Planes or Carl Goldberg. Most shops carry it. 1", 2", 3" widths x 5'-0" long. Plenty for lots of bodies for about $4.00.

I've run mine for 4 race days now and have had some very heavy hits with it. The nose was only screwed on and it's holding up really well. I've squished the right side headlight back a bit, but it hasn't cracked yet and is holding up much better than the 4 or 5 Javelin's that I've used.

Speaking of Javelins. Here's one I finished last night for the same racer as the past two. Two more to go!
This one is done in RW&B #6 scheme. Looks good. It is nice that they come with a second nose piece.
A few sprinkles of rain on the body.

Hey guys i have 2 races on my protoform body and it is holding up quite well. I do however have a crack on the front fender but that is my fault. I ran the last 2 mins of my main after the hinge pin fell out and i dragged the front end around for a while. lol I still finished 3 too lol. I did shoo goo and tape the nose on and it is holding up well so far. What do you guys think of my paint job I painted everything but the stickers that came with the body. i could only get 2 pics up i will try to get more.
