Hi hope someone can help me out. I run a sportsman 21.5 TC class indoor asphalt track 100x46 feet (100f back straight). I first had a Tekin rs in a TRF416 and had nothing but problems trying to get acceptable temps coming off the track, went both ways with the gearing, settings were not to crazy, think 40 timing, no turbo, everyone at the time had Tekins and was trying to help. I burned up 3 motors coming out of a main well over 210F. I took a six month break from the TC racing. Tonite was my first race again, new car EVO V MS, new Tekin w Redline motor. Well again I came out of the main at 198F, and I hope the motor can handle 1 run to that temp because I am sick of buying motors. Both qualifiers and main I tried various gearing and timing boost ( no turbo, Drag brake on 3, start at 4k end at 14k), I started (per others w RS advice) at FDR 6.04 timing 40- off at 169F, then 6.43 timing 40- off at 145F, Thinking I am going in the right direction and again from advice I went to 6.73 and timing 50- off at 198F. The class doesnt allow turbo and 5 other Tekin users all at MAX timing talking about they never go close to my temps. To top it off it was easily the slowest car down the straight. What am I doing wrong... I am sorry this is so long.

seems download servers are totaly swamped, well hitting refresh for a while
Having people download a torrent file instead of the software would rock for worldwide distribution

May i ask how many Caps are you using? I increased my caps to about 1000uf
and Timing i went max with end RPM at 17000rpm (11.5T) and start at about 9000 rpm. Motor timing i left mine at 5° on a SpeedPassion V3. FDR i tried around 7.5 and it went insanely fast without turbo. Just to help people understand why i tried this kinda set-up. I kinda use the 2 stroke engine theory to set up my RS pro. Oh one more thing. I don't use drag brakes. They create unwanted heat all the time. I usually add more oil to my bearings for the drag needed.
